  • Eat more fruits and vegetables. Try eating at least 2 extra fruits and vegetables a day. Or, you can try replacing your white bread with whole wheat bread. It’s a delicious way to start eating right, and it’s one of the healthiest diet tips.
  • Reduces fat and sugar absorption. And, did you know that fiber can help prevent absorption of some fats and sugars? Because of its unique texture as it passes through the colon, sugars and some fats are less absorbed and simply pass through your body without full absorption.

  • Mindless eating. Try to avoid the mindless eating that generally occurs after dinner, between the hours of 6pm and midnight. Just being mindful of what you’re eating can be the one of the best diet tips of all. While it may be tempting to pick up a bag of potato chips, try to resist the urge to eat fried, salty, or fatty foods such as these.
  • Snack healthy. Instead, don’t eliminate snacking altogether. Try snacking on carrots with reduced fat ranch, whole grain crackers or cereal, or light yogurt. One of the best diet tips is to snack, but snack healthy.
  • Eat more in the morning and supplement with snacking. Also, try eating heavily in the morning, and then reducing your overall calorie intake as the day progresses, adding in snacks as a way to control hunger.
