Vegetarian Quick Start Diet is very similar to Vegetarian Diet.  This diet system is suitable for those who intake only vegetarian food or for those who intake less meat. Usually this diet play should go for four weeks.

How it works

The vegetarians who consume only milk and eggs along with other vegetarian foods will get around 1200 calories a day.  That may differ according to their consumption of calories every day.

What to eat

Breakfast:

  • Cereal with seeds
  • 1 wheat biscuit
  • ½ cup of not fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon of sunflower seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of raisins
  • 1 banana

Lunch:

  • Vegetables and a fruit
  • Wheat vegetarian burger bun
  • 1 vegetarian hamburger
  • ½ cup of lettuce
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 1 teaspoon of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of low fat mayonnaise

Dinner:

  • Vegetables over Rice
  • ½ cup of drained beans
  • 2 corn taco shells
  • 2 teaspoons of light sour cream
  • 1 small sliced tomato
  • ½ cup of lettuce
  • 2 teaspoons of salsa
  • 2 teaspoons of low fat cheese

Snacks:

  • 1 apple or any other fruit and handful of pumpkin seeds (or)
  • 1 Fudgesicle Fudge Bar

How it works

When you follow the above diet, you will get only 1180 calories. If it is maintained, you will lose your weight gradually.  Reducing your intake of calories is the right method for long lasting success in maintaining reduced weight.  If you consume less calories and burn more, you will lose weight. This is the basic concept of gaining or losing weight. Taking fewer calories is not meant that taking less food. When you take balanced diet curiously choosing food with low calories and burn more, you will stay fill forever.
