Getting started on a regular fitness routine
Most people will traditionally hit the gym at least 3 to 4 times per week in hopes of perfecting their bodies and getting long-term results. While it is very possible to indeed get the results you are looking for, you can have the same results if you squeeze in exercise throughout the day. Let us explain!
If you are constantly on the go, there are workouts for busy people that can fit your lifestyle. This is one of those programs. For about 2 to 3 minutes, and about 10 times per day, you will be able to get in a fitness routine that can help you become more flexible, toned, and limber.
Working in fitness on a busy schedule
Most people are too busy to fit in workout in their busy day. If you work in a private office of your own, you can easily start these easy exercise tips because no one will watch you and you don’t have to be embarrassed. If you work in a cubicle, don’t worry. You can do these exercises in the stairwell of your building, or even invite a friend along!
Try fitting in these exercise routines on the hour. For instance, start at 9AM and perform these mini-workouts for busy people for a few minutes, then repeat until 5 or 6PM.
On the hour, we recommend the following workouts for busy people:
- Jog up and down your office staircase twice
- Do 10 quick floor planks
- Do 10 ultra-slow squats
- Suck in your belly button and hold for 60 seconds (great core/abs exercise)
- Do as many pushups as you can in 30 seconds
- Stretch your legs, bringing your arms down to your ankles (try this seated and standing)
